Glimpses of Crossfit Fun!

DON'T FORGET TO POST YOUR TIMES!

Hey Everyone! Be sure that you log in Every Day and post your times to the WOD Blog for that day!

We'll be assigning each WOD a number and including it in the blog titles so that you can easily locate a specific WOD when we do it again - this will allow you to compare your current time to previous times for that WOD.

Example - let's say that we assigned today's WOD # 1001. The Blog Title would read
"Thursday, 5/7 WOD# 1001".

When we do the same workout again in a month or so, we will post a note to compare your time to WOD 1001. Then, all you'll need to do is use the "Blog Search" function in the upper left hand corner or the Blog Archive to the right to locate the blogs from when we've previously done that WOD, and you can check all of your previous times for WOD # 1001! . . .but if you don't post your time to the comments, it won't be there for you to reference ;)

  1. Great WOD, I am getting better at the Burpees, pushed myself a little harder. It did feel like a sauna outside with the running, but at least it was early. Thanks to the three musketeers of molly, christie and pam for the encouragement you hollar out in the morning, that really pushes me alot. Gloria

  3. Jeremy- A.K.A. - BMF Today was rough but I made it on air in my fire gear. I think any later in the day and I don't know what would have happened. I ended up finishing in 20min and some change. Not to bad for carrying an extra 65lbs or so and feeling like i was breathing through a garden hose. Burpees sucked cause my cylinder kept wanting to hit me in the back of the head, but I still think the run was the worse part, something about that heat and feeling like i was getting cooked from the inside out. Anyways good workout everyone had fun with this one.

  4. Wow Great job Jeremy. And Christie that's is a great time too. I felt like I was hauling butt, but I only shed 10 secs off my last time. The burpees get me every time. My running was strong, but my row got slower and slower each round. This is a great WOD cause it's all cardio....still coughing and it's 1pm, I think I need an inhaler.

  6. I think I may have shaved off some time. Last time I did it in 23'21'44 and I think this morning my time was 22 something. I may have to double check with Eduardo or Kevin on this one, but I think I may have improved. Even if it was by a few seconds.

  7. Every second counts mama! I have to say that Jeremy aka "BMF" just put on a show that was worth admiring. The man simply put on ALL his firefighter gear and attacked the workout like He was trying to save the whole C.C.CrossFit community! I am very proud to have you on board bro! Next stop, Tyler Texas! They wont even know what hit them!

  8. By the way, your nickname is pretty damn cool! You have to work hard to earn that one!

  9. Jeremy- I really like that nickname doesn't really give me any wiggle room to ever get lazy though. haha I hope to do well at Tyler but I won't know till i get there, I can tell you it won't be for lack of effort and cardio endurance though.

  10. I really enjoyed this WOD even thou it had those dreaded "burpees". The last time we did this WOD my time was 30'03'76., and I used the pvc bars. Today my time was 28'00'26 and burpees were done RX. The difference a whopping 2'033. Obviously practice and presistence pays off because I am getting better at burpees. I think I deserve a glass of wine tonight. As Gloria stated above....thanks to those ever so lovely morning cheerleaders that keep us going in the mornings. My first visit to CF was overwhelming, I am glad I stayed with it. To think that I had 2nd thoughts about joining. If I had not joined I would not have the self-esteem I now have. Thank you Eduardo and Kevin for your encouragement and always being there for everyone!!

  11. Wow!! What a workout!! I'm happy with my time. I knocked off 2 minutes from previous time. The crossfit endurance is really helping..especially with the running. Great job to all the 5:30 class & 6:30 class. It was pretty hot running in the heat. I commend Jeremy for putting on an extra 65plus llbs and taking on the WOD. It's exhausting with my weight alone...geez..and with an added 65llbs would have killed me.
