Glimpses of Crossfit Fun!

DON'T FORGET TO POST YOUR TIMES!

Hey Everyone! Be sure that you log in Every Day and post your times to the WOD Blog for that day!

We'll be assigning each WOD a number and including it in the blog titles so that you can easily locate a specific WOD when we do it again - this will allow you to compare your current time to previous times for that WOD.

Example - let's say that we assigned today's WOD # 1001. The Blog Title would read
"Thursday, 5/7 WOD# 1001".

When we do the same workout again in a month or so, we will post a note to compare your time to WOD 1001. Then, all you'll need to do is use the "Blog Search" function in the upper left hand corner or the Blog Archive to the right to locate the blogs from when we've previously done that WOD, and you can check all of your previous times for WOD # 1001! . . .but if you don't post your time to the comments, it won't be there for you to reference ;)

  1. Yeah, I missed this one last time, and I remember everyone groaning about the plate walk, and thinking to myself "really, how hard could it be??"

    Um

    NOW I KNOW!!

My shoulders have been SCREAMING at me all day long!

But I really like this workout - I've got to work on my pullups though.

My time was 32 something, w/ the black band assistance on pullups.

  2. Jeremy-Every time I put that plate down to go back inside it felt like I was coming back out to pick it up. Not to mention it felt over 100 degrees at noon. Shoulders are def. gonna feel it tom. Think my time was 27 min (RX)

I'll be out of town the rest of the week, so it will be just running for me until MOnday. HAVE FUN and TRAIN HARD everyone. I'll miss my crossfit peeps. =D

  7. I had a really hard time with the pull-ups. I could not get the rhythm down. At first, the pull-ups were killing me, then it was the OH plate walk. I was dying all together. It was very windy in pm, and it was really hard to fight the wind. All I was thinking.."oh, please don't drop the bumper plate,"..I would die if I had to do burpees!!

  8. I'm like Delisa... I loved this wod.. All that upper body work...Fighting that wind was challenging but I wasn't gonna drop that plate... burpees probably would'be put me over the edge.... this is the second time I've done this and my time was 36something...about 5 minutes longer than the first... BIG BUZZZZ about this WOD, dammit I missed it...
    I'll get it next time....

Those 30 min workouts burn, but the
    PAIN IS ONLY TEMPORARY.

  11. Yep, Lisa Marie in Portland. Therapeutic Massage 361.215.2056 (had to get a "plug" in there for my sis-in-law)

Michael & Jeremy have been goin NUTS, toe to toe, mano a' mano. One day it's Jeremy, then next is Michael, they're both ridiculous and leaving us all in the dust.
