Glimpses of Crossfit Fun!

DON'T FORGET TO POST YOUR TIMES!

Hey Everyone! Be sure that you log in Every Day and post your times to the WOD Blog for that day!

We'll be assigning each WOD a number and including it in the blog titles so that you can easily locate a specific WOD when we do it again - this will allow you to compare your current time to previous times for that WOD.

Example - let's say that we assigned today's WOD # 1001. The Blog Title would read
"Thursday, 5/7 WOD# 1001".

When we do the same workout again in a month or so, we will post a note to compare your time to WOD 1001. Then, all you'll need to do is use the "Blog Search" function in the upper left hand corner or the Blog Archive to the right to locate the blogs from when we've previously done that WOD, and you can check all of your previous times for WOD # 1001! . . .but if you don't post your time to the comments, it won't be there for you to reference ;)

Wed 7/22 WOD #1011

I guess Eduardo and Kevin thought our place was getting a little bit dirty. . .

Cause they had us cleaning our asses off today! and running for our lives!!!

Brutal workout today, that that's the way we like them, right?

Shelby Gillespie (Molly's Daughter) has now officially been initiated as a Hard-Core Crossfitter!! She couldn't let her mom pass her on the final sprint, but her stomach had other plans . . . . rather than stopping to bend over and "settle her stomach", Shelby kept running, simultaneously leaving her breakfast in the parking lot alongside her! I guess it's a good thing Molly wasn't right on her heels!!!!

And Yes, she still managed to finish just before Molly . . . . Way to go Shelby!!!

Compare Time to June 3rd

Post times and thoughts about today's workout to comments.

  1. Man - I witnessed Shelby's finish today first-hand and I have to say that it was IMPRESSIVE AS HELL!!!

As for my workout, I really, really, REALLY wanted to do script, but the 96 lbs was just a hair to heavy for me after a few reps . . so I dropped it to 86. Finished in 21'58".

I'll get it at script next time fo sho!!

  2. Yes, I agree with Christie, that 99lbs was freaking heavy. The first 3 rounds scared me and I wondered if I would make it. But 7 reps was much better.
