Hey Everyone! Be sure that you log in Every Day and post your times to the WOD Blog for that day!

We'll be assigning each WOD a number and including it in the blog titles so that you can easily locate a specific WOD when we do it again - this will allow you to compare your current time to previous times for that WOD.

Example - let's say that we assigned today's WOD # 1001. The Blog Title would read
"Thursday, 5/7 WOD# 1001".

When we do the same workout again in a month or so, we will post a note to compare your time to WOD 1001. Then, all you'll need to do is use the "Blog Search" function in the upper left hand corner or the Blog Archive to the right to locate the blogs from when we've previously done that WOD, and you can check all of your previous times for WOD # 1001! . . .but if you don't post your time to the comments, it won't be there for you to reference ;)

  1. Time = 14'10"57 RX BABY!!

    I have to admit that initially I was pretty upset about my time. . .I honestly had hopes of coming in around 6-7 minutes. . . but then I had to remind myself that this is the FIRST time that I have taken on Fran at RX, so I'm thrilled to have finished :)

    I remember the last time I tried to do 65 lb thrusters (several months ago), I couldn't even get it overhead, and remembered thinking that I'd NEVER be able to push that kind of weight up! So I guess I've come a really long way since then :)

    I'm going to set a goal of coming in under 12 the next time we do Fran. . . . and in the meantime I'll be working on my pullup endurance and my thrusters too!

I still feel like the new kid compared to some of you that have been doing crossfit for so long....today I did the thrusters w/55 lbs (same as Friday) and actually felt a little stronger (actually touched the ball more times than not)lol! Pull ups are coming around still jumping and seeing over the bar...only thing I see on the other side is Eduardo and he's always pointing Up! So I have a way to go but I'm lovin it!! Jill

  3. I gotta say I was pretty pissed off this morning. I woke up excited about the workout and thought later on this week I can start running. I got soo motivated by everyone at Beach to Bay. Sad to say, that my toe was hurting me this morning before I started weightlifting. I let that just ruin my workout and I finished slower than my previous Fran time. Did Rx at 7'08 and previous time was 6'24 (i think). Great job to Christie!! You Did Rx. Jill I am there with you, I need my pull-ups to be a lot higher..I'm still working on that.

  4. Pam. Don't be too hard on yourself. That's only about 30 secs off and you have an injury. And, at least you can do your pull ups. I've been worried about Fran all day. LOL. I'll be there at 5:30.

  5. Its very common of people to see this short and inofensive girl leaning against the board and their first thought being, I can definitely kick her butt... Little does everyone know that the lil girl bites back in a way very, very surprisingly intense! Thats why i love fran! If you are posting here is because you met her, tell me How was your experience!!!!!

    Well, the thrusters were not bad at all. The pull ups however.....Okay 1st round sucked. After 10, I had to get off the bar every little while and the last few were only eyeball height. By the last round, I didn't jump of so much as to stop and swing 2-3 time between each pull up. Can't seem to get that motion right. Good job Robert and Marcus. Matthew did great too. New guy Otha? And also May???. I'll get your names right soon.

  13. Hey Carlos..where have you been? I challenged myself to 500meter Row and very excited because I completed at 1'51 compared to my old record of 1'57. Next time I will complete 500 meter under 1'50..lets say 1'45..huh..that sounds good. Thanks Eduardo to kicking my butt on the Row. Mucho congrats to Roberta, Marcus & Michael who knocked off time from last Fran. Kim great job girl, you moved your way up to 65 lb bar on your last 9 reps..way to go!!
