Glimpses of Crossfit Fun!

DON'T FORGET TO POST YOUR TIMES!

Hey Everyone! Be sure that you log in Every Day and post your times to the WOD Blog for that day!

We'll be assigning each WOD a number and including it in the blog titles so that you can easily locate a specific WOD when we do it again - this will allow you to compare your current time to previous times for that WOD.

Example - let's say that we assigned today's WOD # 1001. The Blog Title would read
"Thursday, 5/7 WOD# 1001".

When we do the same workout again in a month or so, we will post a note to compare your time to WOD 1001. Then, all you'll need to do is use the "Blog Search" function in the upper left hand corner or the Blog Archive to the right to locate the blogs from when we've previously done that WOD, and you can check all of your previous times for WOD # 1001! . . .but if you don't post your time to the comments, it won't be there for you to reference ;)

  1. Six rounds, rowing 400 meters instead of running.

  2. Rowing? What's up w/ that. 5am class ran in the cold wet fog! I think your right Lynn...rowing verses running....think I'll take the running. That rowing can be a killer machine sometimes. I was happy that I am now using a 16kg KB, next step 24kg. I remember when I first started I had a hard time swinging the yellow KB which is...I think 15lbs. I can now swing that w/ one arm. I know doesn't sound like a big accomplishment, but when I first started I had spaghetti arms.

  3. Did 6 rounds, barely completed 6 with rowing also. It got pretty cold out there in the evening, so most of the 6:30pm class decided to row instead of run.

  4. Mary, I choose the rowing because I strained my leg last week. The rowing sure changes the dynamic of the WOD, but I really enjoyed it anyways. Great workouts lately!

  5. Lynn...sorry to hear about your leg. It's always a bummer when you hurt or strain something. When I sprained my back, had to alter my workouts....and your right it does change the dynamics of the workouts. Hope it heals fast.
